MIRI: Wishesland Miri’s Christmas gathering held on Sunday morning (December 27) was a great success.
When declaring open the event, Councillor Tan Lek Jin, who represented Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Sebastian Ting, wished all a merry Christmas and a happy new year 2021.
Also present was Wishesland Miri president, Eunice Ho.
In her opening remarks, Ho said that Wishesland Miri was still looking for a suitable building or rest house for their centre.
“Wishesland Miri, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) was registered with Registrar of Societies (RoS) on December 21 this year. It aims to provide an avenue for counselling services rehabilitation and consolidated treatment to children and adults, including family members with cerebral palsy,” she said.
