KUCHING: Sarawak State Library is inviting members of the public to join its ‘Night at the Library 2018’ programme on Feb 24 (Saturday), from 7pm to 10pm. The programme will take place at the library compound.
Exciting activities await the public such as Info Hunt, Paper Quiling, TJBot workshop, ‘Spiderman Homecoming’ movie screening, Tale of Tellers and Aerodance session.
The programme is organised by Sarawak State Library in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
Hopefully, by carrying out activities that cater to all ages, the State Library will be able to mould the younger generation to continuously be a part of the library in seeking and gaining knowledge.
This programme is also in line with the library’s aim of promoting lifelong learning regardless.
Through this type of exposure, the library hopes that the event will be able to promote the idea of carrying out beneficial activities at night for the community.
Several food trucks will be available on site and many attractive prizes are up for grabs from the lucky draws. Admission is free.
