ASAJAYA: A total of nine personnel from the 10th Royal Ranger Regiment (10RRD) were deployed by the Third Infantry Brigade Malaysia to help distribute clean water supply during water crisis in Asajaya district.

The team led by Major Mohd Faiez Abdul Rahim since 28 May 2018 until now, also works together with the Rural Water Supply Department (JBALB) in order to get clean water supply from Asajaya and Tambirat Water Plant.

Royal Malaysia Armed Forces (ATM) was also given the responsibility by the Resident’s Office in Asajaya to allocate 500 gallons of water in tanks for four villages, namely Kampung Senangeh, Kampung Sungai Buloh, Kampung Sungau Rangawan and Kampung Sungai Putin.

Repeat stocking of water supply was done according to the schedule, utilising the 10,000 litres of water from 71st Battalion KPD and assisted by the 3rd Company Transport KPD.

The water supply aid helped to enable those villagers in Asajaya area to celebrate their Hari Gawai celebration and also helped in their preparation for the coming Hari Raya celebration.
