KUCHING: Nine individuals were issued with a RM1,000 compound each for failing to comply with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) on Tuesday.

For the arrested Indonesians, investigation papers were opened under Section 269 of the Penal Code; Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 (Amendment 2002) and Regulation 3 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within the Infected Local Areas) No 7, Regulations 2020.
