SRI AMAN: Pakatan Harapan (PH) component parties have been urged not to accept those who have jumped from other parties so that integrity and unity are maintained.
Batang Lupar Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy head Safudin Lebey has acknowledged the existence of certain individuals, especially those from his branch, who have been making statements on social media and jumping to other PH component parties.
“We want to make a statement to clarify the true situation about what some people are saying as internal conflict. And also to note the views, suggestions and comments of all parties, especially on social media.
“I urge all components of PH not to accept any individuals who jumped ship as this is not a healthy practice,” he said.
“We do not want to keep party members seen as cancerous because it can spread any time and cause harm to the party.”
According to Safudin, the PKR disciplinary board headed by Abang Zulkifli Abang Engkeh will also inform the State Political Bureau to send a show cause letter to any member who has issued controversial statements that undermine the credibility of the PKR leadership.
“There has never been any conflict in the party branch as claimed by some on social media,” he added.
