KUCHING: All Kuala Lumpur-Sibu and Sibu-Kuala Lumpur flights are cancelled until April 14.

Also from today until the movement control order (MCO) period is over, all foreigners travelling by land, air and sea are not allowed to transit in Sarawak.

This is the latest measure issued by the disaster committee to curb the Covid-19 pandemic in the state, said State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) deputy chairman Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.

On April 2, SDMC said all travellers entering Sarawak either by land, air or sea would be placed under quarantine for 14 days at designated centres.

He again reminded the public to strictly obey the MCO as the spread of Covid-19 could be minimised by limiting people’s movements.
