KUCHING: There was no report of the shortage of fish supply in Sarawak due to the current dry season, Assistant Minister of Agriculture, Dr Abdul Rahman Ismail said yesterday.
“At the moment there is no report on the shortage of fish supply in the state although it is the dry season.
“In fact, it is expected that fish supply will increase. It seems that fishermen are not affected by the dry season.
“However, if there is a fish shortage, the Sarawak Government will look for ways to ensure there is sufficient supply to meet the demand,” he told reporters
at a press conference yesterday.
