MUKAH: Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) Mukah head Salihin Den says there have been no reports on the shortage of essential goods in the division thus far.

“There are no complaints about the lack of essential goods for Gawai, everything is guaranteed to be adequate.

“At the same time, we are also constantly monitoring the situation.”

He said this when met by the media at an Aidilfitri and pre-Gawai do at Mukah KPDNHEP on Tuesday (May 24).

He also advised consumers, especially those who will be celebrating Gawai, not to be taken in by rumours of supply shortage.

Meanwhile, the Aidilfitri and pre-Gawai event went smoothly and it was made livelier with the presence of many parties.
