KUCHING: Normah Medical Specialist Centre (NMSC) has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing personalised patient care through refined approaches.
During the 16th Normah Annual Nursing Conference 2024, NMSC nursing director Nadzrah Basri said the effort would serve to provide care that is not only effective but also tailored to meet the unique needs of every patient.
“Throughout this conference, we will explore essential topics such as infection prevention, evidence-based practice, and the continuous professional development of our staff.
“By aligning our strategies with international safety standards, we aim to enhance patient outcomes, improve the quality of care, and uphold the highest ethical standards in our profession,” she said.
She said this in her opening speech for the conference here today (Oct 5).
She said that one of the highlights of this conference is their special session which features insights from a Consultant Psychiatrist on the critical topic of stress management.
“The topic will address how stress influences work behaviour among nurses and providing strategies to improve overall well-being in the workplace.
“As leaders in healthcare, we must prioritise the well-being of our teams, recognizing that a supportive and resilient work environment is fundamental to delivering exceptional care,” she said.
Besides, she expressed gratitude for every participant due to their dedicated commitment to the Normah Annual Nursing Conference as part of their continuous nursing education.
