KUCHING: Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (MUDA) Sarawak chairman Jeffery Ngui has launched an innovative initiative called ‘Misi Turun Kerja’, which seeks to support small business owners and traders in the local community.

“Small business owners and traders in Malaysia are facing unprecedented challenges with the rising cost of living and decreasing value of money.

“My office will do whatever we can to provide support and assistance in these difficult times,” he said.

The first collaboration under this initiative will be with ‘Team Tiara Natasha’, the Nasi Lemak Bus Stop in Matang Jaya.

Ngui urged residents of Petra Jaya, Kuching, Santubong, and beyond to show their support to local entrepreneurs by purchasing nasi lemak for RM1 tomorrow (May 13) at the bus stop in Matang Jaya.
