MIRI: Northern Sarawak Journalists Association (NSJA) will hold its annual blood donation drive (NSJA Blood Donation 2.0) on January 5 next year at the third floor of Boulevard shopping mall, Jalan Pujut, here from 9am to 1pm.
According to NSJA president Andy Jong, the blood-drive is part of the association’s yearly corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts together with the support of Shun Shen Lee Trading Sdn Bhd, Miri Hospital blood bank, Miri Fire and Rescue department (Bomba), Indocafe and Julie’s.
“The event aims to help Miri Hospital blood bank with the increasing demands for blood supply within our society, especially during the festive season,” Jong said. Miri Hospital director Dr Jack Wong Siew Yu is expected to officiate at the event.
