KUCHING: Have you ever dreamed of going overseas to further your education goals and life aspirations?
What better place to do this than in one of the world’s most picturesque countries; pure, clean, green New Zealand!
The Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) is a New Zealand government-owned institute of technology offering tertiary education programmes from certificate level courses right through to master’s degrees.
Its main campus is located at the bottom tip of New Zealand’s South Island in a city called Invercargill.
They have smaller campuses in Queenstown, Christchurch and Auckland. SIT programmes are accredited and approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA).
The institute has a proud history of providing applied learning and vocational education.
“For over 45 years SIT has been providing students with quality education across a range of subject areas including Business, Information Technology, Applied Health Sciences, Applied Management, Engineering Technology, Creative Arts, Music & Audio Production, Sports, Nursing, Construction, Architectural Technology and many more,” said a statement issued by SIT yesterday.
SIT said it has over 200 programmes across over 30 subject areas, adding this provided students with the opportunity to enter training at the level that suits them and to progress as they were ready.
According to the statement, in 2018, SIT had close to 14,000 full and part-time students out of which 1,800 students were international students.
Students who want to find out more out SIT are invited to come and talk to the representative at the NZ Education Fair at Pullman Hotel here between 1pm and 6pm on Aug 4.
