Insights are not just the preserve
Of just one race, culture or tribe
All peoples have nuggets of wisdom
That resonates — with everyone else
We are what our parents made us
Or rather, how they have moulded us
From when we were raised as kids
And even — into our early adulthood
True love is, when we are accepted
Whole heartedly, as we are
Despite all our faults, as demonstrated
And of our weaknesses — and of our fear
And don’t go around making jokes
About other people’s tragedy
That’s being the lowest of the low
So refrain! — And resist the temptation to!
