MIRI: An oil theft from an electrical transformer near the Madinah’s junction along the Miri-Bintulu Road has resulted in a lost worth RM1 million.
According to sources, the incident unfolded when a contractor-in-charge inspected the site on April 9 around 8am.
Upon further inspection at the site, he found that some parts of the transformer were damaged and had leakages.
Signs of instrusions were also found.
A police report has been lodged at Miri Central Police Station (CPS).
