SIBU: Sarawak Teachers’ Union (STU) Sibu and Sibu District Education Office will jointly organise an online Sijil Pelarajan Malaysia (SPM) Mathematics Workshop Saturday (Jan 14) starting 2 pm till 4.30 pm.
The workshop sponsored by Laila Taib College will be officiated by the Sibu District Education Officer Ahli Chikba.
This free participation is open to all SPM candidates in Sarawak.
STU Sibu, in a statement today (Jan 12), stated it was always concerned about the academic performance of SPM candidates.
“Therefore, an experienced Mathematic teacher Pang Kong Teck from SMK Penrissen No. 1, Kuching has been invited to present techniques for answering SPM Mathematics questions.
“The purpose of this talk is to help the SPM candidates this year to enhance their technique of answering Mathematics questions so that the candidates will be more confident in answering the Mathematics paper.
“It is hoped that the candidates will obtain important and useful tips for a variety of problem-solving strategies and further help improve their Subject Average Grade (GPMP) for SPM Mathematics paper.
Furthermore, STU Sibu hoped that through such a programme, it would help improve the academic performance excellence desired by the students, especially in the Mathematics subject.
Students who are about to sit for the SPM exam are urged not to miss the golden opportunity to participate in a workshop on techniques for answering SPM Mathematics questions.
