KUCHING: There is only one active evacuation centre (PPS) in Sarawak as of 4pm on Monday (Feb 1).
According to a report by the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) and Civil Defence Force (APM) Sarawak, the PPS is located in the Serian district.
“The active PPS is located at Dewan Baru Kampung Rimba Padi with 49 flood victims there,” it said.
It also said that the PPS located at Dewan Kampung Lintang Baru in Serian closed at 3pm.
In an earlier report, it said that at 8am yesterday there were four active PPS with a total number of 186 flood victims.
