KUCHING: The vaccination certificate in the MySejahtera app is proof enough for businesses, including traders and shop owners, as being fully vaccinated.
Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) chairman Lo Khere Chiang said proof of being fully vaccinated was the responsibility of everyone, not just business owners.
“Everyone has the responsibility to make every place safe to go to and we have to make sure the safety guidelines are adhered to at all times.
“This way we can protect ourselves and others. Let us not be selfish,” he said when met by the media at the 3rd Mile Market here on Friday (Sept 10).
Lo was responding to a question on the distribution of vaccination certificates for businesses, that was done in Sibu last month.
Lo again stressed MPP’s approach of keeping people safe, that is by having only one entry and one exit point at markets or business premises.
“Show your vaccination certificate in your MySejahtera app when asked and scan your body temperature before entering the premises.
“Practice physical distancing and wear a face mask wherever we go. By doing this, it will be safe for all.”
He again urged the public to cooperate with authorities to stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
“If the community does not have the sense of responsibility and willingness to work together to stop the spread of the virus, we will have a hard time.”
