BAU: Opar assemblyman Billy Sujang stepped forward to assist the family of Margret Donny Rinag, whose home was ravaged by a fire last month.
He personally presented a cash donation of RM2,000 and a brand-new refrigerator to the Margret family at their residence in Kampung Stenggang.
Recognising the importance of education, particularly amidst adversity, he also donated a laptop and printer to ensure that Margret’s daughter, who is currently in Form 6, can continue her studies without interruption.
Also present were Bau District Officer Constantine Gerald David Jonas, Bau District Education Officer Edward Nyelang, and village chief Gary Nosen.
