KUCHING: In light of the Muslim holy month, Grand Margherita Hotel is offering special packages for breaking the fast this year’s Ramadan.
The breaking of the fast campaign called “Original Macam-Macam Ada Sungkei” package will commence daily until the last day of Ramadan and the eve of Aidilfitri, on May 12.
For the whole month, Grand Margherita offers a variety of interesting dishes for breaking of fast including its signature Penang Char Kuey Teow and ‘kambing golek’ (roasted lamb) dishes as its special menu for this year.
The hotel’s Orchid Garden food supervisor Reynold Raymond said more than 100 menus inclusive of local, Korean, Western and others are available.
“This is a great opportunity for customers to break their fast from a wide selection of main course dishes offered and also get to enjoy the different types of cakes served especially for Ramadan,” he said.
From prices as low as RM98 for adults and RM35 for children aged 6 to 12 years, everyone can enjoy breaking fast here.
“With a limit of 150 people allowed to dine in, we encourage those who wish to break their fast here to make early bookings.
“To comply with the standard operating procedure (SOP) requirement, our hotel will only accept customers by reservations,’ said Reynold in a statement recently.
He further explained that strict rules have been enforced to ensure the designated dining areas are arranged accordingly.
The menu served during the Original Macam-Macam Ada Sungkei package will be a buffet course starting from 6pm to 10pm daily.
“We also offer our customers with takeaway orders where dishes can be selected and ordered online which will later be ready for collection.
“However, customers will be charged according to the size and quantity of their order,” he added.
