KUCHING: Fourty-five recipients from Kompleks Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim received gifts from Toh Puan Datuk Pattingi Ragad Kurdi Taib.
The gifts which were contributed personally by Ragad consisted of toiletries, biscuits, dried food and cash.
She was represented by Deputy Minister of Women, Children and Community Wellbeing Datuk Rosey Yunus during the ceremony.
Of the 45 recipients from the complex, only 17 children were unavailable to attend the simple handover ceremony because they were having classes.
Besides that, Miri Methodist Children Home also received gifts and nine out of 13 recipients were present at the ceremony.
Both homes received face masks as well.
