KUCHING: Sarawak National Youth Organisation or popularly known as Saberkas has grown exponentially since its establishment 50 years ago, says Jepak assemblyman Datuk Talib Zulpilip.
Speaking at the JUMS Start Business event here on Saturday (Oct 15), he said under the current leadership of Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Saberkas had been organising activities beneficial to the rakyat.
At Saturday’s event in Bintulu, he noted that 150 people participated. “The event covers Saberkas Tanjung Batu, Jepak, Kakus, Kemena, Murum, Belaga, Lambir and Samalaju Service Centre,” said the Jepak Jaya development advisor.
The event was organised by the Saberkas Entrepreneur Development and Economy.
Talib expressed hope that the event would benefit the participants, which extensively covered every area of entrepreneurship.
