KUCHING: More than 1,000 young artists partake in the Children’s Colouring Contest organised by Farley Mall here yesterday (June 23).
Marking its second year, the colouring contest was divided into three groups namely, Group A (Primary 4 to 6), Group B (Primary 1 to 3), and Group C (Kindergarten).
Through the event, the vibrant talents and community spirit of Kuching’s children is showcased.
The winners received attractive prizes which aimed to reward and encourage the artistic talents of the young participants, fostering a spirit of creativity and achievement.
Adding to the excitement, the event featured several engaging exhibitions at the main entrance, including a Fire and Rescue Department (BOMBA) Fire Truck display and a showcase of a police mobile patrol vehicle and motorcycle patrol unit.
The day was further enlivened by a mesmerising magic show from Jerry the Clown.
