KUCHING: Over 10,000 face masks were distributed to primary schools in Stampin Parliamentary Constituency yesterday.

Out of the total, 2,300 face masks were distributed to SJK(C) Sam Hap Hin, followed by SJK(C) Chung Hua Batu 10 (3,000), SJK(C) Stampin (1,900), SJK Chung Hua Batu 4 1/2 (2,200), SJK(C) Chung Hua Kim Choo Seng Batu kawa (380) and SJK Chung Hua Sg. Tapang (1,320).

The masks came from Kota Sentosa assemblyman Chong Chieng Jen.

On hand to distribute them were Stampin MP Julian Tan and his delegation. They also demonstrated to students the correct way to wear masks and educate them about the importance of personal hygiene, including washing hands frequently and drinking plenty of water to avoid being infected by virus.
