MUKAH: Some 113 active Covid-19 cases at the two low-risk treatment and quarantine centres (PKRC) here as of April 23 are currently under medical supervision by the authorities.
This was disclosed by Mukah Division Resident Hamdiah Bakir after attending a simple handover contribution to staff of agencies and non-governmental organisation (NGO) at the lobby of Resident Office here last Friday (April 23).
The contribution was in appreciation to the staff who was involved in assisting to put up, on gotong-royong basis, Mukah division PKRC here recently.
Hamdiah said Mukah division currently has two PKRC, Mukah Youth Camp and Politeknik Mukah hall here.
She added the staffs were committed and has sense of responsibility while working hard to complete the setting up of the two PKRC here.
“As the chairperson of Mukah Division Disaster Management Committee, I appreciated the efforts and contribution of all the agencies and NGO involved,” she added.
The event was organised by Mukah Division Resident Office and Mukah Division Disaster Management Committee.
Representatives from various government departments in Mukah Division, including People’s Volunteer Corps (Rela) and Mukah Parliament Youth Organisation also attended the event.
