KUCHING: KPJ Cancer Awareness Run 2017, organised by Kuching Specialist Hospital, has received an overwhelming response.
More than 2,000 people have registered for the event which will be held on November 26, 2017 (Sunday) at Kuching South City Council (MBKS) Foyer here.
A spokesperson for the organiser said the run, to start at 6.30am, would be flagged off by Local Government and Housing Minister, Datuk Dr. Sim Kui Hian. She said there would be a warming- up (zumba) session at 6.15am before the run.
A press conference will be held after the run, to be followed by a cheque handover ceremony. The spokesperson added that immediately after the cheque presentation, there would be a Lucky Draw to wrap up the day’s event.
