MIRI: The Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) will run a reef-cleaning activity on July 22 in conjunction with the Sarawak Day celebration.

The Sarawak Day Reef Cleaning Campaign 2022 will take place at the Miri-Sibuti Coral Reef National Park.

Over 19 agencies would take part, according to SFC, and that this would be the corporation’s second time organising such a campaign after the first one in 2020.

SFC noted that the activity would gather over 50 divers, who would be focusing on the coral reef site of the marine park, an estimated 45 minutes ride by boat from Miri Marina.
