KUCHING: A total of 99,145 Sarawakians have registered in the Central Database Hub (PADU) system.
PADU reported that the number of successfully registered individuals has reached 996,926 as of January 11, 2024, at 11.59 pm.
As such, PADU encouraged Malaysians to register and update their information on the PADU system through the link www.padu.gov.my.
“Congratulations to all who have registered and contributed to the successful implementation of PADU,” said PADU in a Facebook post today.
PADU’s objective is to establish a secure, comprehensive, and near-real-time national primary data repository for periodic analytics and targeted policy implementation.
Additionally, it aims to formulate policies and decision-making processes based on data integration and achieve fiscal balance through targeted policy implementation.
For information, PADU includes individual and household profiles, encompassing citizens and permanent residents in Malaysia.
This profile information is obtained through the integration of administrative data from various sources.
PADU registration has been open directly from January 2 to March 31, allowing the public to update and verify 39 personal information items such as identification numbers, household numbers, and addresses.
Towards this end, all citizens aged 18 and above are required to register and check their data on the PADU portal.
Profile information will be periodically updated through the integration of administrative data from various sources.
Through this ecosystem, citizens can directly check and update information within the PADU system.
