MIRI: A 65-year-old rider died after his motorcycle collided with a car at Jalan Kampung Tanjong Berlipat here on Sunday.
Miri OCPD ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said that the collision happened at 4.40 pm, involving a rider travelling from Kampung Tanjong Berlipat and colliding with a Proton Wira from the opposite direction.
“The incident happened as the victim was overtaking another vehicle,” said Chabu.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
