MIRI: The appearance of an owl behind a house at Desa Indah Permyjaya yesterday, gave a rather fascinating surprise to a family of six.
A 52-year-old woman who was enjoying free time with her family, was really surprised to see an owl around their house at 2.40 pm.
Civil Defence Force (APM) Miri officer Mirwan Shah Masri said a five-member team was despatched to the scene after receiving an emergency call.
Upon arrival, they met with the complainant and secured the area for the operation.
It only took less than 10 minutes for the owl to be captured.
The team later left the neighbourhood with the creature and then released it to its original habitat.
