SIBU: A total of 210 packs of frozen meat were donated by Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Bukit Assek Service Centre to the less fortunate at Masjid Al-Muhajirin, Sentosa Salim in conjunction with Aidiladha.

“Each pack contains about 1kg of frozen meat, distributed to underprivileged Muslim families in this area according to the name list provided by the Kampung Usahajaya Baru JKKK,” Bukit Assek assemblyman Joseph Chieng Jin Ek said on Sunday (July 10).

He added that the programme was supported by the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Kampung Usahajaya Baru, Masjid Al-Muhajirin, and Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Dudong.

Meanwhile, Kampung Usahajaya Baru JKKK chairman Mohd Ali Serani expressed his thanks to Chieng for the donation. “This is a wonderful gift for underprivileged Muslim families during Aidiladha.”
