Pahang Sultan conveys condolences to Nur Farah Kartini’s family

KUANTAN: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah conveyed their condolences to the family of the late Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah.

In a Facebook posting, Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah also prayed that Nur Farah Kartini’s soul will be blessed by Allah SWT and placed among the righteous.

“May the family members stay strong during this challenging and sad moment. Al-Fatihah,” said the royal couple in the Facebook posting.

Nur Farah Kartini, 25, a former Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) student who was reported missing on July 10, after delivering a rental car to a customer, was found dead in an oil palm plantation in Kampung Sri Kledang, Hulu Selangor, at about 6 pm on Monday (July 15).

Following the incident, a 26-year-old man who is also a policeman in Perak was arrested and remanded until July 22, to assist investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

The remains of Nur Farah Kartini was buried at 5.20 pm yesterday at the Kampung Nyiur Manis Muslim Cemetery in Pekan. – BERNAMA
