The positive-minded Galang told Sarawak Tribune recently that he hoped to do his best in this year’s Para SUKMA in Sarawak.
“My goal is to win two gold medals, but if possible, I’d love to make it three.
“I’m aiming to improve on my performance from the last Para SUKMA in 2022,” Galang stated with determination.
Galang, competing in six para-swimming events – including two team and four individual races has been pleased with his training progress.
“The training has been excellent, ‘not bad’ at all,” he said.
At the 20th Para SUKMA in 2022, Galang made waves by winning the Men’s 100m Breaststroke SB6 with a time of 1:56.93, breaking both the meet record and the national record previously held by Kelvin On Kai Bin of Selangor.
