BINTULU: Rural parents are urged to prioritise their children’s education, said Food Industry, Commodities and Regional Development Minister Datuk Sri Dr. Stephen Rundi Utom.
“Education will be the most useful and powerful asset” for their children’s success, he said during his speech at the 2024 Bintulu Division Level Gawai Dayak Dinner recently.
In his view, education is the only path to improving living standards, especially in rural areas.
“There is no other way that can change our destiny other than education.
“Education can change our destiny and the family’s economy in the future,” he added.
The Kemena assemblyman commended the government’s efforts in providing quality education.
