KANOWIT: Jalan Lukut Penyulau and Jalan Rantau Kemiding here were hit by flash floods, with water levels rising up to three feet and one foot respectively as at 11.37am on Sunday (Sept 6).
According to updates from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), Jalan Lukut Penyulau was impassable to motor vehicles, while Jalan Rantau Kemiding was still passable.
A Bomba patrol team, monitoring the flood situation in the areas, advised the residents to be alert and ready for any flood eventuality.
There was no rescue or evacuation operations conducted since the situation at the affected areas were under control.
