MIRI: Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDSB) has expressed disbelief and shock that the new appointment list of grade DG41 teachers showed 80 percent of those selected are Malayans.
“It’s an imbalanced list for sure. Don’t they have other people to choose from? The list which has gone viral in social media since Tuesday has displeased many Sarawakians,” said the party president Bobby William.
They urged Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas to bring the matter to the relevant authorities.
In June, Education Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Jidin announced that the ministry would appoint 18,702 Grade DG41 teachers to overcome the shortage of educators in certain subject nationwide.
