KUCHING: PAS Sarawak information chief Zharudin Narudin is unhappy that Democratic Action Party (DAP) Sarawak deputy president David Wong has suggested blocking PAS president Datuk Seri Hadi Awang from entering Sarawak.
“It is a closed-door attitude that does not try to understand the culture, customs and religion of others.
“Calling Muslim leaders “religious bigots” is an overs
tatement of the law because no case has ever been blamed on a PAS president while Muslims have not named the DAP leaders.
“Sarawakians need to assess why the DAP is behaving this way,” said Zharudin.
According to him, Wong’s statement was carried in an online news portal.
Zharudin pointed out that PAS Sarawak was fully led by Sarawakians and indigenous Sarawakians.
“This proves that the party is accepted in the state,” he said.
