SARIKEI: Ailing Sia Siew Ngee found a helping hand in local MP Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii who came to her aid.
The Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change visited Sia to gain a better understanding of her condition and subsequently, provided her a healthcare bed to alleviate the family’s burden.
Huang, who is also Repok assemblyman, assured that his Service Centre team would closely monitor the family’s needs and offer assistance in accessing medical care.
Additionally, he said he will also assist in the application process for support from the Social Welfare Department for both Sia and her family.
Among those present were Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Sarikei Branch Women’s chief Wong Zee Yeng, Penghulu Hwang Tiong Kang and Kapitan Law Pick Hung.
