Elevating Bornean women in Mrs Borneo International World 2025
This Iban woman has once again made Sarawak proud through the pageant industry, as she has been appointed director of the Mrs Borneo International World 2025.
The founder of Mrs International World, Datin Sharon Too, said that she selected Kimi because of the Mrs Global Asian 2023’s unwavering spirit and passion for empowering others.
“We are very pleased to welcome Kimi as the director of Mrs Borneo International World 2025.
“She is a symbol of perseverance and determination — qualities that distinguish her as a true leader.
“Kimi is the ideal person to elevate Bornean women to greater heights because I believe in her vision and leadership to encourage many women to embrace their power, speak up for what they believe in, and change the world for the better.
“We are proud to have such a committed and responsible leader in the Mrs International World organisation, and we are confident that Kimi will inspire a new generation of women,” said Too to our reporter.
Elaborating further, Too pointed out that Kimi, renowned for her passion and commitment, will play an important role in bringing more married, divorced, or even widowed Bornean women to the international stage.
Too expressed her belief that, under Kimi’s guidance, these women would be able to showcase the natural beauty and cultural diversity of Borneo and Malaysia, thereby raising the profile of Mrs International World.
It’s your time to shine, Bornean ladies!
Meanwhile, when approached, Kimi said that this will be the inaugural occasion for beauty queens from Borneo to participate directly in an international competition through the Mrs International World platform.
“I am looking for someone who can carry on the legacy I have been fighting for all these years.
“I seek bold, self-reliant, and exceptional women who possess grace and intelligence, and who can use their amazing personalities to introduce and showcase our Bornean beauty to the world.
“We are now accepting entries, and I invite any married, divorced, or widowed women who wish to use beauty pageants as a means of self-improvement and realising their full potential to get in touch with me and my team at 018-3983136.
“Those interested can also contact me through any of my social media platforms — please, seize your opportunity today!” said the eldest of three siblings.
The 36-year-old Sarawakian reiterated that if there are any Bornean women who have ever wanted to showcase their rich culture and traditions, as well as contribute to their vibrant community, now is their moment to shine on the global stage.
In order to ensure that the best candidates represent Borneo, Kimi said that she would provide the highest level of training to those selected.
“What matters is that participants in this competition will gain valuable experiences and possibly learn things they never knew before.
“What I can guarantee is that even if they aren’t eligible to compete for the top spots, the experiences they gain will benefit them in future beauty pageants or modelling competitions.
“Thus, I would like to wish all of our upcoming contestants the best of luck, and please make the most of this platform to raise your voice and bring your advocacy to the world’s attention,” she said.
In the meantime, Kimi expressed her deepest gratitude to Too and her team for appointing her as the director of Mrs Borneo International World 2025, which she sees as a testament to their faith in her abilities, efforts, and diligence.
Kimi also thanked her family, friends, and supporters who never stopped believing in her and supporting her — even during her most difficult moments.
