KUCHING: PBB can retain all 47 seats it currently holds in the 82-seat State Legislative Assembly in the coming state election.
The expected clean sweep is achievable based on the current political scenario, says PBB vice-president Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.
“It is also based on the good performances demonstrated by the respective party leaders, serving the people.”
In addition, PBB was seen to be mature in terms of working together with the state leadership, its divisions and branches, he added at the Randau GPS-PBB for Pantai Damai programme in Bandar Baru Semariang here on Monday night (Sept 21).
Dr Abdul Rahman, who is Pantai Damai assemblyman, however cautioned PBB against complacency.
“The PBB election machinery must be systematically prepared to face any possibilities. We must not take things for granted or be complacent until the election is over.”
Also present were Pantai Damai PBB secretary Merdehi Mas, Women deputy chief Dayang Nora Awang Sabudin and branch chief Sebeki Jen.
