KUCHING:Parti Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Cup 2017 Sitang Zone football tournament in 2017 has now entered the semi-final stage.
The top four teams will start their matches at the football field, Kampung Bangau on July 2.
For the first semifinal match, favourites Rimong Crocs will play take on Rata FC at 2.00pm while the other semi-final will be between AT Jaya and DRR Mambong FC at 4.00pm.
Tournament chairman, Issac Ak Ranyau said his side are expecting an intense game between all the four teams.
“Significantly, the four teams in the semi-finals are also reinforced by many former Sarawak players.
“So we will expect intense action as only the winning teams will qualify to the final which will be held on July 9,” Isaac said.
The tournament which started on Feb 19 was participated by 64 teams from Kuching, Samarahan, Serian and nearby areas.
According to Isaac, the champions will receive a cash prize of RM2,000, a trophy and medals.
The runners-up will receive a cash prize of RM1,500, a trophy and medals while RM1,000, a trophy and medals will be given to the third place winners.
The fourth team will get a cash prize of RM700 and a trophy.
