KUCHING: The Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) sub-branch of Muda Hashim A held a thanksgiving dinner at Samudra Hotel here on Friday in conjunction with Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki’s victory in the 12th Sarawak state election.
The ceremony began with a prayer recital by Penghulu Karim Abang, which was followed by a welcoming speech delivered by the head of the sub-branch, Zaidi Sirat.
Later in his speech, Ibrahim expressed his highest appreciation and gratitude for the entire party machinery and voters who had given him their undivided support in the recent state election, which saw him scoring a huge victory.
The event which was shared on the Media Satok Facebook page, included a lucky draw session.
Ibrahim presented prizes to the lucky winners.
