MUKAH: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Telian branch distributed 800 packs of ‘bubur lambuk’ and dates to local folk here yesterday.
The programme, jointly organised by PBB Telian women and youth wings, was held at the Mukah Youth Activity Centre.
Telian assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo came at 8am to start off the event by joining the organisers at cooking the delicacy.
Accompanying Yussibnosh was Mukah MP Datuk Hanifah Taib.
Also involved in the programme were 1281 villagers from Kampung Seri Telian, Kampung Telian Daya, Kampung Telian Laut, Kamput Datuk, Kampung Sungai Ragei, Penakub Hilir, and Kampung Tutus Hilir.
Also, in attendance was Mukah Parliament Youth Association chairman Royston Valentine.
