MUKAH: The Youth and Women members of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Tellian branch organised another Community On-The-Go (COTG) programme here on Sunday (Sept 27).
This time round, they helped houseowner, Jenal Bedal at Kampung Petanak Daya here to build a short concrete walkway from his house to the main road.
PBB Kampung Petanak sub-branch members and local people were also involved in the ‘gotong royong’ (mutual assistance) project which took place from 8am to 3pm.
This was the second such programme following the first one in Kampung Kuala Lama here this month.
Jenal thanked Tellian state constituency service centre and assemblyman Yussibnosh Balo for selecting him for the programme.
PBB Tellian branch secretary cum Dalat and Mukah District Council deputy walikota, councillor Jay Keram, Women chief Saripah Mardiah Tuanku Ahmad, Youth secretary Terry Anthony and Youth and Women committee members also attended the event.
