KOTA SAMARAHAN: A pedestrian was killed last night after being struck by a car along Jalan Datuk Mohd Musa, here.
The victim, 65, was killed on the spot in the 8.30pm incident as confirmed by paramedics on the scene, said district police chief DSP Sudirman Kram in a statement.
“The accident occurred when the driver was heading towards Kota Sentosa from Kota Samarahan.
“During the commute, the driver struck the victim who was walking by the road,” he said today in the statement.
Sudirman said the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
