Penang CM, Perlis MB get invite to visit Sarawak during SUKMA

PENANG: The secretariat of the 21st Malaysian Games (SUKMA) and the SUKMA Sarawak contingent paid a courtesy visit to Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow at his office, Komtar in Georgetown here yesterday (Apr 22).

Led by Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development Datuk Gerald Rentap Jabu, the purpose of the visit was to invite Chow to attend the SUKMA in Sarawak, which the state is hosting.

Accompanying Rentap was Deputy Minister of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Datuk Rosey Yunus.

The Sarawak delegation later paid a courtesy visit to Perlis Menteri Besar Mohd Shukri Ramli at his office, Perlis State Legislative Assembly Complex, Kangar.

Raja Puan Muda of Perlis Tuanku Dr Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil also joined the delegation on a visit to Kampung Warna-Warni or Rainbow Village, a tourist attractions in Kuala Perlis.

Among those present during the visits were Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development deputy permanent secretary Dolhadi Mazuki; assistant secretary-general Jee Chin Fu; and Ministry of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development deputy secretary Nur Alina Abdullah Colliner Gohe.

Today, the same delegation is scheduled to pay a courtesy visit to Kedah Chief Minister  Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor in Alor Setar.
