SERIAN: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) has been holding steadfast to its promise to serve the people.
This we have been doing regardless when the general election is to be held, said Kapit MP Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
“We have not reached a year after the elections at the state level, GPS is always ready and working.
“People’s representatives at the state level are always in the field.
“That is to ensure that GPS is always relevant and carrying out its duties and so on to cater to the people,” he said, adding, “that is our promise.”
He told reporters this after officiating at the Malaysian Family Cheap Sales programme (JMKM) at Kampung Bunan Gega here on Sunday (Sept 18).
Whenever the election is held, he added, GPS is ready and preparations will be continually improved.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob had on Saturday (Sept 17) hinted that the 15th General Election (GE15) will be held very soon.
