KUCHING: The Sarawak Association for the Welfare of Intellectually Disable Children (PERKATA SARAWAK) which operates PERKATA Special School will once again hold its Annual Open Day Sale 2018 at the school premises at Jalan Ong Tiang Swee.
This year, the sale will be on April 29 from 7.30am to 12pm. The sale aims to raise funds for the education and training of the 115 students enrolled at the school. With increasing costs, it has become of great importance that the sale would be a success.
Volunteers have come forward to set up various stalls selling food, old books and even plants. Products from the PERKATA gallery such as T-shirts and cards will also be on sale.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their own carrier bags during the sale to conserve the usage of plastic bags. Those who have purchased tickets are reminded to retain ticket counterfoils and write their name and telephone number for the lucky draw.
