He said the target was set
following MPF’s achievement in winning two gold medals in the Kuala Lumpur SEA Games 2017, two years ago.

“Insha-Allah (God willing), we are confident that we can achieve the target,” he told Bernama after officiating the Malaysian Petanque Federation Cup 2019 tournament at the Petanque Arena, Tan Sri Datuk Dr Mohd Said Sports complex here yesterday.

Also present were MPF president Datuk Ahmad Khairrullah @ Radzi Mansor and Malaysian Petanque celebrity icon Datuk Nassier Wahab.

In the last SEA Games held in Kuala Lumpur two years ago, the national petanque squad won two gold medals through Muhamad Hafizuddin Mat Daud in men’s singles and Saiful Bahri Musmin and Syed Akmal Fikri Syed Ali in men’s doubles.
