KUCHING: A petition may be organised next to bar PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang from entering Sarawak.

Sarawak Association for People’s Aspirations (SAPA) president Dominique Ng said this after his movement together with several other NGOs and activists filed a police report against Hadi here on Saturday (Aug 27).

The report was lodged with the Kota Sentosa Police Station to protest Hadi’s claim that non-Muslims and non-Bumiputeras were the root causes for corruption in the country.

Also present was supreme council member of Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak, Ben Diomedes.

“The next step might be to take that (petition) into consideration. The first step has already been started by filing police reports against Hadi and the police need to intervene,” said Ng.

“We will think about the next move as we go along. I’m certain that many Sarawakians share our sentiments, “ Ng said.

Hadi Awang has been the subject of more than ten police reports as a result of his Aug 20 remarks.
