KUCHING: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan has received a courtesy call from Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) chairman Tan Sri Mohd Bakke Salleh yesterday.
The discussion during the meeting focused on matters concerning the company’s operations in Sarawak and issues related to oil and gas exploration in the state.
Also present were deputy state secretary Datuk Dr Muhammad Abdullah Zaidel; state legal counsel Datuk Seri JC Fong; Ministry of Natural Resources and Urban Development permanent secretary Datuk Zaidi Mahdi; Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Investment (MINTRED) acting permanent secretary Dzulkornain Masron; and MINTRED advisor Datuk Naroden Majais.
